1. Data Controller & Privacy Philosophy

KodeTech Gh Ltd operates MobiBoss with a strict "Privacy by Design" approach. Our technical and organizational processes are structured in alignment with the core personal privacy principles set forth in Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), guaranteeing local data sovereignty, minimal collection, and robust encryption for mobile money agents.

2. Nature of Data Processed

• Account Information: Agent name, phone number, email address, and registered business/shop name.
• Billing Information: Payment reference, transaction timestamp, subscription tier, and duration.
• Local Device Records: Customer transaction amounts, commissions, and SMS messages are parsed locally on the agent's device inside an isolated encrypted SQLite database. Raw customer SMS bodies are never uploaded to our servers or sold to third parties.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process data solely to authenticate your agent account, verify paid subscription status, and facilitate software updates.

4. Bank of Ghana (BoG) Regulatory Exemption

MobiBoss is strictly an accounting, drawer reconciliation, and point-of-sale utility application. MobiBoss does not take customer deposits, process financial remittances, hold float funds, or issue electronic money. All financial services are executed directly through licensed telecom carriers (MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AT Money, G-Money) and partner commercial banks. Consequently, MobiBoss does not require a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license from the Bank of Ghana.

5. Right to Erasure

In accordance with Act 843, agents have the right to request the permanent deletion of their account records by contacting support@mobiboss.com or submitting a deletion request through the settings page.
